Do Holiday Inn Club Vacations bookings count towards yearly night total?

Hello,

Can anyone confirm if Holiday inn club vacations bookings, specifically those booked using the $179 3night/4day special count towards yearly night total for status? I am referring to the deal that requires you to go to the timeshare sales meeting as part of the deal.

IHG keeps providing varying responses from they don’t count, they count for nights and milestones, or they only count for milestones. Planning to hit diamond this year but my calculations include these 3 nights.

I’m staying at the HI CV property in Vegas in July, no indication that it’s other than a normal points and nights earning stay but the timeshare promo deals are typically only available to US residents so I would say all bets are off in your case and there’s no way you’ll get s straight answer from anyone ahead of time.
