Discuss today's stories:
I searched for this but couldn’t find the answer. My Virgin paid for card is coming up for renewal and I’m not inclined to renew it and pay £160. I have a voucher which has plenty of time left on it and all the points I need. I recall when using my BA companion voucher online I HAD to use an Amex card to pay the cash element.
I know that with Virgin you have to ring up and book, but I’m just looking for reassurance that if I cancel the card when I come to book I don’t find I’ve shot myself in the foot by not having a Virgin credit card.
TIA
You do not need the Virgin CC to book with the voucher.
