Downgrade BAPP

Hi

Is downgrading from BAPP to normal BA the same was getting a new card? I. E. Would one have to pay the balance off or would Amex transfer it? Curious.

@ekposh the downgrade is managed as a product swap, so the underling account, balance, credit limit etc stays the same, but you are now getting a fee free product with different rewards terms (voucher earning requirement and voucher usability)

Does this go for any refunds too? For example, if a refund is received for something brought with the paid card, it would automatically be refunded to your downgraded free card?
