Recommendations please for the best Hilton hotel in Dubai for a couple on a short break; first time visitors. Gold Hilton members if that makes any difference! No ‘dry’ hotel suggestions please (if indeed there are any). TIA

It depends a bit whether you’re looking for ‘city’ or ‘beach’. For city, I’d suggest the Conrad. It’s well-connected to the metro and highway for sightseeing. WA DIFC perhaps also worth a look.

For beach, there’s the WA on the Palm (but NB it’s a bit of a trek to the mainland) or the JBR Hiltons.

Thanks, I’d say probably more city than beach

Have a quick read of this topic, may help you with some of the choices available in Dubai. We are regulars to Dubai but it was our first time in a Hilton in dubai last month.

There is no logical reason to do ‘city’ in my view. If you don’t want to pay for the Waldorf (and assuming the new beach Hilton isn’t open) then the Canopy at Al Seef is interesting – a city hotel on the banks of the river and built into an outdoor shopping centre designed to look like it is 200 years old.
