Early Bag Drop at LAX

We fly out of LAX at 11pm this Saturday in Virgin UC.

A tour drops us at the airport around 4.30pm BUT according to Virgin, check in opens at 7pm

Is there any way to check in or drop luggage at 4.30pm?

Can we drop at Delta ?

We took VS24 last Monday (2310 departure) and pretty sure we arrived at the airport between 5 and 6pm. Virgin counter was open and no trouble dropping off bags. HTH
