I’ve just received notification that my August flight has been cancelled and I’ve been moved onto the flight the next day. They appear to have kept our seats and baggage as before on the new flight. There is not a good alternative on that date so we will likely accept the proposed change. What is unclear, is how long we have to decide. If it’s a free option to keep the ability to refund the flight till much nearer departure while also having the reservation for the day after I’d like to do so, just in case we decide to change our plans. At the same time, if there is limited time to decide don’t want to lose the new set of flights.
I’ve got flights from last summer that is still letting me select a new option or refund , so I’d say you’re fine
