Am hoping for an early season (pre June 2025 but post Easter) southern Greek holiday and encompass a TP haul (either flight +car or flight + hotel). Will likely be LGW Euroflyer (as we live 15 minutes away from LGW).
I want to book as soon as possible partly to secure hotel(s) at good ££. Am so conditioned to thinking T-355 (for Avios CW booking at least) but need some advice on when to be looking to book pricewise – obviously looking now at what prices are doing is no help as Euroflyer Greece is all seasonal. Plus I seem to remember Euroflyer flight schedules appeared at random times last year. (Thessaloniki seems to be the only Greek Euroflyer service already showing for early Spring 2025 so far.) When first loaded, CE seem to be very pricey? Perhaps there is a resource I can be pointed towards that tracks historic flight prices?
With TP in mind will probably be CE (though the last couple of years have noticed BAH Economy upgraded to CE with Avios still gets higher TP but wouldn’t rely on this quirk).
Try some early October 24 dummy bookings and do some comparisons amongst destinations.
Thanks, though October searches are very muddied by a) one/two + weeks of half term b) having been released 6 months ago.
Early October is a fairly low demand period, I note some fares have not risen despite being released 6 months ago.
Half term is middle October to early November, Early October avoids this.
I don’t think there’s fare very muddling going on.
Early releases of cash fares seem to generally be in higher ‘buckets’ for a short while, so booking the instant that return flights are in the system isn’t always the best option with BAH.
I’ve just booked something early April next year, and I checked the flight only prices first – it was plainly obvious that costs dropped after a few days e.g. the day of release the price may have been £395 one way, a few days later those same flights dropped to £295.

The solution here is to search using ITA Matrix but untick the box that says “Only show flights and prices with available seats”
Then put in for whatever dates you want but this year and it’ll show the lowest fares loaded, even if that bucket is now sold out.
