Extend BA Gold to 2025 this year?

BA extended my status to Feb 2024 after gaining Gold end of 2021 – collection year ends on 8th Jan for me.

I am about to hit 1125 TPs which until the end of the year qualifies for Gold.

However, am I correct to assume that my status won’t be extended to 2025 in this case?

Thanks John – so in other words, other than comfort there was no reason for the extra points to fly business on some of my shorter trips ..

For the most part, yes. Once I hit TP thresholds, just like credit cards, I moved my travel to other airlines to get status with them.

Your CIV might increase slightly, but whether it does and whether anything happens because of it is a wild gamble.
