First time flying BA First – Any tips/suggestions?

But I also wouldn’t use BA to Sydney unless you luck out on Avios. Mainly because of high premium on BA for refunabilty , but others are better.

But as I said on another thread, I would always choose direct flight on BA over indirect on anyone else. However I put a high premium on direct.

Only just come across this gem of a thread. I sincerely hope that the OP enjoys his First experience. can’t see myself managing first either on BA or elsewhere, so I’ll stop worrying about that.

I’m also flying in F for the first time next week, so this has been a a really helpful thread. Thanks for the tips.

Can anyone advise how far ahead of the flight you can access the CCR? Is it 3 hours?

There’s no time limit.

We allow a full 2 hours in the CCR, with 20 mins either side for pre-CCR (check-in, security) and post-CCR (getting to gate). It’s very nice, but it’s still a lounge. Obviously if you want to nip in and out to do some shopping add on some extra time (leave your bags in the cloakroom).
