Flight prices for Costa Rica at Christmas?

Hi All – I have been watching the prices of flights in Business class for San Jose flying out 25/12 – 04/01 , Madrid to SJO via PTY is coming in at about £2300 return but the inbound is direct from SJO – MAD. These prices are flying IB so My parents would pick up Tier points which is a bonus. Does anyone know if this price is cheap or have people seen the prices cheaper for this time of year?
From AMS, FRA, CDG etc it is showing a lot more in price.

In the current price climate that does sound very reasonable for Xmas/New Year. Have you also compared with BA?
