Flying British Airways Gatwick to Orlando on 777 – old aircraft?

Hi are BA using there old outdated 777 on the lgw-mco route, I’m sure I read somewhere that they use the tatty 777 from lgw especially on the mco route
Any truth in this
Nearly all flights will be on a “Gatwick” 777. These have been refurbished so have up to date IFE etc but retain the old “ying yang” seat in Club World. But arguably these seats are more suited to a route with lots of family travel !
A small chance you’ll either go on a CS equipped 777 or an even smaller chance you’d end up on one of the 3 remaining unrefurbished 777s but these are usually Heathrow based
I flew to Barbados in January from Gatwick and it was a refurbished 777 with good in flight entertainment and seemed in a really good condition. On the return I flew back to Heathrow on a tatty old 777, with the arm rest falling apart, crackling noise and knackered screen on the entertainment…
