What are my lounge options in DOH and SIN
Is it just the business class QR lounge i can access or are there any first lounges I can get into
In Doha it depends on the type of business ticket you have – if it is one of the more expensive ones you can use the Al Mourjan business lounge but BA Gold doesn’t get you in there, but instead the Qatar Platinum lounge. You can’t use the Al Safwa F lounge. Someone else can hopefully advise re Singapore.

Yes, you should, on a J ticket it matters not whether award ot cash ticket. if you don’t get access to AM lounge it’s due to lounge dragon whim rather than any rule stopping you.
Yes, You should get access to Al Mourjan. The rule as far as I know is that Avios J tickets do get access where as business light tickets may not.

That’s correct. But of course a lounge dragon on a given day might get muddled and Doha is not the place to stamp your foot and make a scene (unless you are Qatari)

The only caveat is if you’ve used points to upgrade an economy ticket on QR, then no Al Mourjan business lounge access from the ticket
