I have 3 FTVs left from the £400 off a cash booking with 20k Avios that ran last August. Each one is for around £518.
I am trying to book some flights and get an error “Your email and last name must match the details in your eVoucher email”. I have used the correct details and had no issues using the previous £1k worth of FTVs I had from this deal. Frustrating as I am trying to book some flights before the sale ends.
Anyone else had any issues? I was wondering if BA have cancelled FTVs generated this way and will be refunding me the avios with a slapped wrist?! 🙂
You can’t use FTV online, has to be on phone.
FTV is not an eVoucher
FTVs have 6 alphanumeric codes tied to the original booking ref and can’t be used on line.
E- vouchers start 125-4 and can be used on line. These contain only cash.
Which do you have?
Unless you’ve got an email saying they are going to refund the cash / avios then they won’t just refund them.
There is a known error with some E-vouchers did you try the name of the other party on the original booking?
Sorry it IS an e-voucher.
Ah, let me try another name on the booking, there were 8 of us, we did lots of one way trips to Jersey 🙂
Sadly two evouchers have been blocked for 24hrs so I have only got one more I can try!
Tried two surnames on the third voucher and it has been blocked for 24hrs. 🙁
