FX fee for Euro purchases over the web

Hi, Does anyone know if the virgin atlantic plus card charges an fx fee on euro web purchases. The T&Cs say no FX fee on ‘in person’ euro purchases but a euro web purchase would still go through as a euro purcahse.. unless there is a way the system knows if its web or ‘in person’? Anyone had experience with this? Thanks
