I’m going to be flying from Gatwick South terminal in Euro Traveller. I don’t have any BA Status and was planning to use a Amex Gold Priority Pass visit. I am guessing that Aspire, MyLounge and No1 are all completely rammed at the moment? Has anyone been recently are any of them worth the booking fee?
I am tempted to try the Grain Store credit.
Thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
Aspire only reopened two weeks ago so may be OK.
If you’re really concerned then pay the £6 No1 reservation fee which I think gets you fast track security too.
3 weeks ago, 9am, No1 was full but I got into MyLounge without pre-booking so it’s worth a go. It wasn’t rammed, though a couple of people lying across sofas were managing to take up about 8 spaces. As for the booking fee, I enjoyed my fry up in relative peace but didn’t/ wouldn’t bother reserving entry.
As per @Rob ‘s comment, we went to Nº 1 and did reserve for the fast-track, as it
was the first day of the Easter hols, and this was totally worth it due to the queues.
Having said that, lounge was totally, totally rammed. But then again, if you’re travelling
on a non-peak date, should be ok? The space itself it’s lovely, the only problem is the people! ;o)
I will be travelling out from Gatwick south with my flight at 6:30am so looking to use the lounges available with my priority pass first thing in the morning when I arrive at 4am ish.
Would it still be super packed with other travellers at that time?
