What is the best way to go from the free VA card to the reward + one?
Cancel current card
Apply for new card
Be rejected for new card because you haven’t left a 6 month gap
Call VM and say you were just trying to upgrade
Be accepted (no sign up bonus though)
I assume your accumulated spend is reset to zero and you need to get to 10k spend from square one?
What about if already collected the voucher on the free card?
What about if i cancel current ( free card ) do the 6 month stretch, then apply for paid card – would i then be eligible for the sign up bonus ( if accepted of course ) ?
