Forums Other Destination advice Hotel recommendation for Dubai – 1 Night Pre Cruise

  • 116 posts

We are arriving early on overnight flight. Early check in ideal. Platty holder so gold with Hilton and Marriott. Cruising next day so late checkout NOT needed.

Looking for a well located recommendation mid range!

    any help welcomed!

Marriott gold is useless. Email a Hilton hotel that’s within your budget and let them know in advance of your early check in and request if they can accommodate you.
Not sure if Hilton still sells day rooms. That could be an option if you want a room guaranteed.

Hilton do day rooms in Dubai so I’d say look for one that starts day room check in at 9. That way you’ll know you’ll get a shower/shuteye/a pool if you want to sleep there – all the while with a safe for valuables. Since you’re only there for 1 night you probably don’t need to be too fussy. The Conrad is very well regarded. The 3 Hiltons co-located across from Business Bay are not well regarded (a Hilton, a Curio V hotel, a LXR Habtoor).

Having stayed at the Conrad, I would recommend.
We had early check in after arriving early from LHR on BA.
I’m sure if you contact them beforehand, and although they say they cannot guarantee it, you will find you have a room available.

    The Greek restaurant is awesome.

I was looking for something similar. What I did find was that it seemed far better value if you were flexible as to where you stayed and looked at one of the websites like dayuse.co.uk or similar, then just tacked on an extra night.

Obviously if they’re on a day use site then you could also contact the hotel directly as implicitly an early check-in is an option.

The Jumeirah Creekside also sell rooms in 24hr blocks but not sure if that would appeal as it means you’re out at 7am or whatever on the day of departure.

Pleased I could help – would you mind reporting back on the hotel, as it certainly looks like a good option for the early arrivals.
