How do I book return Club seats on a busy route with an Amex Voucher ……

In particular if I look now I can see somke outward bound Club seats available as Avios seats on the last week of the published flights (i.e. about this time next year. My problem is I need a three week gap before the return, and I reckon by the time the inward flights are published the outward flights three weeks earlier will have no Avios availability.

Is there any way I can call them, book an outbound flight, and add on to it an inbound flight later – all using one companion voucher?

All ideas would be appreciated. I am based in the UK

Lots of information about this scenario here….in short, yes it is possible to book the outbound first and then add the inbound later when it becomes available.

I booked our outbound flights online using the voucher and will phone to book the return so that it will be combined with the voucher booking so that the voucher covers both.

Need to book our return soon but I’m not sure on the best number to call, I’m thinking Japan or HK.

As we actually need 3 seats I think it’ll be tricky as it’s a very popular route but we all need to be on the same flight and the voucher holder can only book 2. The 3rd I’m planning to book online but I’m a bit worried about availability.

Will definitely be a nerve wracking night when booking opens.
