Hi all, I’m supposed to be flying IAH-LHR tomorrow night in business. The flight was cancelled yesterday (i.e. 48 hours before), and I’ve been automatically rebooked to land more than 24 hours later (I’ve not accepted this in MMB).
I’ve called BAEC multiple times and it seems the agents are only able to provide a very small subset of the available flights, a couple random connections. I’d like to be rebooked on an AA connection through ORD which arrives a couple hours earlier (in time for work), but on several calls the agents are saying they can’t see it in their system and aren’t unable to book?
Is there a separate team I need to get through to for rebooking onto other airlines? I’m aware the regs/law is on my side here. Thanks!
If you mean tomorrow it looks like both the AA flights are full. It certainly isn’t a big deal to get BA to rebook you to AA transatlantic usually
