When calculating VIP status for Radisson Rewards, is the qualification period based on the calendar year, or does it run for 12 months from the date of a status match? My account is showing the next status review in August, as I originally qualified for VIP in August 2024. However, I have not dropped back to Premium as I did not complete the required nights/stays and my account is still showing as VIP. I have tried reaching out to customer service but have not received a definitive answer as I am planning to book few stays before the end of the year and would be great to benefit from the VIP status during my stays
This is what I found on the Radisson website
(According to the Radisson Rewards Terms and Conditions:
The qualification period begins when your first qualifying stay is completed.
It then runs for 12 months, extending until the end of that same month.
For example, if your first stay is on 15 August 2024, your qualification period runs through 31 August 2025.
Radisson Hotels
After that period expires:
Your Eligible Nights and Eligible Stays counters reset to zero.
A new 12-month qualification period begins)
Mine said 8/25 and that I had 20 stays – still saying it will update but having just stayed (in 9/25) at Manchester airport now have 21 stays so no idea if that will rollover or be lost when my status eventually does update – their system seems somewhat lacking compared to Marriott
