How many tier points will I get

Context – my to year ends on 7 June and the answer will deicide if I need to do a TP run next week!

I just flew from HNL to DFW, the BA website says it gives 140 in business or 210 in first.
But it also said 2 class plane in first pays the business rate, but this was a 3 class 777 flagship seat.

So will I earn the higher rate or the lower?

Also, if i fly on the 4th for a TP run, and the points post just after the 7th (my year end), will they still honour the flight in the year I need it?

What fare class was your reservation for the HNL-DFW flight? If it was F or A you will get the higher TP. J C D R or I will earn 140TP

Second question TP are usually backdated to date of the flight so any flight departing on or before 8 June should post to the old year.

You’ll get 140 – AA don’t sell a first class on that route

The three class is a bit ambiguous as there is premium economy on these planes (as well as MCE)

I suppose the complexity goes away when AA sunsets it’s F cabins
