How do you upgrade an existing Hilton account to gold after getting the platinum card? I’ve tried clicking on the enrol button on this page
but after filling in the Hilton details I get an error message saying the member already exists
try the online chat. I had this with radisson, it appears that they had taken my better half’s membership number for hotel scheme as she applied for the status before me. If amex chat can’t help, call the concierge line and let them spend the time talking to people and figuring it out.
Chat useless. Gave me the same link. The message you get when completing their form is
“Sorry, Hilton Worldwide have been unable to process your enrolment request. This normally happens because there is already a member registered with the email provided or, if applicable, the existing Hilton Honors membership number is incorrect. Please provide an alternative email address or your existing Hilton Honors membership number and re-submit your request.”
