IC Ambassador weekend cert expires after membership renewal date.

Evening all.

I joined the IC Ambassador program on the 2nd November 2022 however my weekend certificate doesn’t expire until the 1st January 2024.

I am going renew my membership so does this mean I’ll have two vouchers?

Has anyone else had this situation with a voucher having a longer validity than the actual ambassador membership?

I’ve got a booking using this years night Cert for new years ever, so I will be using my current voucher on the day it expires.
I’m presuming as the voucher expires on the 1st that it won’t disappear from my account until midnight of the 1st?

You get two months extra to your Amb membership to give you time to renew.

And yes, if you renew you will have two vouchers. Previously, I’ve used one Sat-Mon, then points redemptions till Friday and then Friday-Sun. I only paid 2 nights in cash for 8 nights. Three separate reservations, but I emailed the hotel in advance as usual and it wasn’t a problem.
