Intercontinental Hua Hin Ambassador upgrade

I am staying in a club pool access room next month and have Ambassador status.

None of the higher room categories have pool access and as we have a guaranteed one category upgrade we would lose the pool access if they gave us an upgrade. Is it worth contacting the hotel to say we want to stay in a pool access room?

Yes – contact the hotel. It’s in no-one’s interest if they upgrade you and you then have hassle to move or a room type you don’t want

Enjoy! We stayed in a pool access room in February with Club access. Had a great time in the lounge listening to the pianist and singer at the weekend. Hopefully, they will have re tuned the piano by the time you arrive. The poor chap played like Les Dawson!
