Do we expect the T7 lounges to now get very tired, very quickly????
Club lounge looked fine to me on Sunday.
They were only refurbished a couple of years ago so are in pretty good nick – probbaly heloed by them been closed for a long period.
The Port Aurhority is pretty hot on airlines keeping their spaces in good condition and even though they knew at the last T7 lease renweal that the redevelopment of JFK was on the cards the PA still insisted BA spent upwards of $50m on improvements.
“ The Concourse C Admirals Club will continue to serve members, qualifying elite customers and those traveling on eligible itineraries.” – does this mean OneWorld Sapphires don’t get to use the Flagship Lounge? One to keep an eye on.

“American’s Flagship Lounge and Concourse B Admirals Club will be repurposed into a contiguous lounge for eligible business class customers.” – hmmm……
What a shame that the Concorde Room at T7 will be no longer – the last remaining legacy of Concorde’s time in the sky will be gone. I do hope they provide a Concorde Room at T8 for BA First passengers, whilst Flagship First dining is good, it’s not to the private club standard at T7 which is far better than its larger version at LHR.
Will T8 have an A380 twin airbridge gate?
