Has anyone had cause to fly with Air Malta since the change / takeover?
Trying to decide between them and BA for our trip to Malta. Biz is c.£200 more expensive but better flights times and I’m sure the seat is better/bigger.
We have used them a few times. Last trip to Malta was August just after the change. No change to anything….just the name. Everything was as it was before. Great Service. We have always booked in advance which means you can book the front row (great for a family of 4) at the time. No blocked seats etc. The food and drink onboard is far better than Club Europe. Same economy seat (if the seat/space is marginally bigger I didn’t notice it) as BA with a blocked seat in the middle. No fixed table but on the front row, you just pull the tray out the arm. Same thing either way. Lounge access both ways. Overall, better than BA as free seat selection, can choose the front row as not blocked (they see it as first come first served) and better lounges with better catering onboard.
Rhys said in his Gulf Air lounge review today that he has done a review of KM (Malta) to be published next week
