I am flying with Qatar Airways next month from Terminal 4.
I am BA Silver an flying PE. What is the best lounge for me? I am flying with a guest who has no status so need to be able to bring someone in with me as well.

Premium economy on Qatar?
Not flying in premium cabin (business/first), and with OneWorld Sapphire Status, you can only access the Frequent Flyer Lounge. This very site reported the news and made a subsequent review at some point in the summer just passed.

Qatar Airways Frequent Flyer Lounge
Open to: Business Class, First Class, oneworld Emerald (eg BA Gold), oneworld Sapphire (eg BA Silver)
Guesting: You can only bring a guest if getting in via oneworld status
Which airlines?: The lounge can be accessed by Qatar Airways passengers as well as those flying on other oneworld airlines (eg Malaysia Airlines)

We have QR flights booked next year in business, using avios through BA. Will we be able to get into the premium lounge, or just the frequent flyer one?
I know if you’ve booked on avios through QR you don’t get lounge access except via status, but at some point BA ticketed bookings did still get premium lounge access. Is that still the case?

Post 20 in this thread suggest Avios redemptions should be able to access the Premium Lounge
