I’m looking for a short stay in London, somewhere where it’s not too much of a pain to get to Highgate and central London, and where there’s nice stuff to do/see in the evening nearby. Needs decent Aircon. A pool would be nice, but not essential if there are better options without.

For a Sunday/Monday night I’m seeing lots of Blu and Park Plaza options for around £200/night. Also the Art’otel. Any recommendations? I’m VIP, so lounge access/a likelihood of decent room upgrade would be nice 🙂

I’ve just spent the last two nights at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge so lots going on in the evening around South Bank and you are near Waterloo.

I am VIP with no stay history with Radisson. Booked a Superior Room and was upgraded to a Studio Room overlooking the atrium (these would be good if travelling as a family as also have microwave, fridge, crockery, glassware etc.). They have a pool but didn’t use and you need to book a time. Had lounge access which was nice for a pre-dinner drink and we also had breakfast there where it was nice and peaceful compared to what looked like a bit of a zoo in the restaurant at breakfast.

Would stay again if we needed to be in that area.

Forgot to mention that AC was very good given the weather over the last couple of days, though fan was quite noisy if you are a light sleeper. Also atrium facing room so didn’t get direct sunlight to heat it up!

+1 that Westminster Bridge best matches what you asked for. Mercer Street doesn’t have a pool but is pleasant and obviously loads of evening options nearby too.
