Lounge access for accompanying economy passengers

I’ve just been off the phone with BA and the agent told me that if we have 2 people travelling in Club Europe and 2 in Economy, all four can access the lounge. I have no BA status.

Is this correct? Can’t find any reference to it online.

I don’t think that’s correct- simply travelling in CE doesn’t give you guesting rights. You might get lucky if the ET pax are children!

If you’re flying First you can bring a guest, Club you can’t.

If you have BA silver or gold status, you can bring a guest

Maybe the agent was new and was confused about the difference between silver and club?

Agent incorrect. No guests for flying club. Yes for status or for flying first.

Thought as much. I queried hard, and even asked to be sent a link to confirm their advice, but they weren’t able to. Figured it was too good to be true.
