Well I can confirm if you select it on Jan 1st it is valid until the end of the following year 🙂 Made it to 40 mights in early December and held off converting them until this morning.

Yep, +1 for me too. Just selected the lounge membership and 5 x F&B credit.
Now have 9 credits to use, hope they are usable soon!
I took the upgrade voucher rather than the F&B credits; figure getting a standard room and upgrading should easily save a thousand pounds on a 5 day stay…
I have a good track record of free upgrades this past year, across Indigo and other brands in the group. I normally book 2 rooms as both kids are teenagers now so figured take my chance with free upgrade and use the F&B credits to keep them from their permanent hunger!
Of course this only worked if your select by date was for 1st Jan and later.
I had to select mine by 31st December so I only get it until the end of 2023 but didn’t want to take the chance of losing the option by delaying.
Where are you finding the option to do this? The desktop site says it’s down for improvements, and the app shows only 2023 milestone rewards. The link from the email inviting me to select my choices (deadline 16 Jan) is also going to the 2023 thresholds and showing none available.
Desktop site is up now, but also has no mechanism for selecting 2022 milestone rewards that I can see.
Also just worked for me in the app. That app can be very glitchy though IME so try again later.
Yes, the lounge pass selected now works until end of 2024. I wonder how long they might keep this policy going before tightening things up (eg valid for only the calendar year, or for 12 months from selection like CSUs, or make it 70-night option only).
I also chose the CSUs as I don’t know if/when the F&B certs will ever be valid outside North America.

Sounds like a reason to delay your 40th night until October
