Forums Frequent flyer programs Other frequent flyer schemes Lufthansa Business. PJs – Full or Half?!

  • 57 posts

I recently flew on a Lufthansa long haul flight in business class. I was pleasantly surprised to receive what I thought were pajamas/PJs. However I was subsequently further surprised to find they only cover one’s top-half – i.e. a nice cotton top, but not trousers.

Is this normal or did the crew fail to give me a full set?

Sounds like it was maybe a left behind pair from a previous flight where someone used the bottoms and not the top and they were inadvertently returned to stock after the flight? Probably worth checking with the crew next time you get something that doesn’t look right, and they could supply you with the correct item.

Kind of surprised because they came wrapped up in a bow (e.g. not in a plastic bag).

Unfortunately it was hard to ask the crew – none of the call bells worked…

They’ve been giving out only the tops for quite some time now. A lot of comments to that effect elsewhere.
Everyone on our flight got that back in summer 2022.

Thanks. So it was by design not ann error. Seems a bit odd, but I suppose it is hard to change into trousers unlike adding a top layer.

That’s kind of ok as long as you didn’t take off your trousers and just wear the provided top….

I’m picturing Counselor Troi in Star Trek:TNG season 1 when she just wore a uniform top they claimed was a mini dress

That’s better than what I was picturing… think Christmas tree baubles…

Well, the seat next to me was occupied and clambering over them to the aisle, in the dark, was hard enough without cow bells jingling.
