I have booked MAN-JFK in business flying with Aer Lingus in July. Seemed like a good deal at only 120k Avios plus taxes along with the bonus of it being direct and a lot more local than LHR. A little apprehensive that the Aer Lingus business class doesn’t appear quite as nice as the BA offering we flew on to and from DXB in December, is it still worthy of draining the majority of my points balance?
We plan to spend 3 nights in Manhattan which we’ve both done before, and have also booked an airbnb in Westhampton beach for three nights, has anyone been and is there anything up there that you’d recommend?

Have you read this? Not sure if the planes are the same on all routes.
But coming home especially you’ll be so happy to be avoiding LHR! We did MAN-LHR-DXB in December and returned direct to MAN on QR which was ideal.
Thanks NorthernLass, yes I had saw that. However i’ve since seen that we’re flying on a 330 which makes me think that it’ll be more dated variant than that of the newer A321 LR. Agreed on avoiding LHR, however the one thing we liked about it was the BA lounge. Although very busy at the time, as first time points users it gave us the taste if flying business to not really want to go back! Not sure how the MAN lounge will stack up vs LHR.
