I have just been looking through to see if I can find any update on this lounge that was suppose to open back in 2020. I am looking to fly to vegas next august upper if possible. we are up north so flying from london is a pain. I really like the lounge and the fast track security, but its not worth the effort in flying from london if we don’t need to.

If they had one in manchester!!!

I don’t see it as likely and the 1903 lounge they use is meh!

Also fast track at Man isn’t as all sorts get pushed in front of you.

However I went from curb, through bag drop and through security in 5 mins flat yesterday, so FT would have been a waste. It was a very quiet Saturday morning at T2 though, August will be a different matter.

Makes a bit of a mockery of the VS experience though when you have a 1903 lounge outbound and packed Delta lounge on the return, MCO, LAS, ATL etc

I seem to recall Rob saying at one point that the MAN Clubhouse had been put back until 2024, but I’ve not seen anything about it for a while.

I’m actually willing to forego a decent lounge (although the 1903 has had a positive review on HFP) in return for a direct flight these days.

Absolutely which is why I almost always do fly direct, and after being let down by BA on the last 5 trips via LHR for a variety of reasons I’ll continue to go direct when possible, or via dub, bru, ams, even the hell that is fra than rather via lhr.

Must admit to be rather bored of the ATL shenanigins these days so may do JFK transfers in future and I’ll at least get the VS lounge on the way back.

I’ll be in the 1903 in T2 in 8 weeks time so I’ll report after that
