Hi guys. Off to Roches Noires in Mauritius at the end of August. Have booked the Radison b and b and am looking for advice for good restaurants to visit in the evening. Happy to use taxis and will have a car for a few days. Thanks for any advice

I found food in Mauritius quite expensive and disappointing.. The place with the best food and most original cooking was here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/dV1KqxvNSHbqsFfn8

I am sure some 5* resorts have great food but I don’t see the point of flying 12hrs to an island where I can have much better food anywhere in Spain (or Italy, France, etc.)

I found food great, but it will depend on your taste.

Chez Tino, restaurant at the L’Aventure du Sucre (sugar museum). Best restaurants are the ones that don’t look appealing from the outside.
