Decided to book a night at the end of holidays mainly for the 4pm checkout (at Drury plaza for most of stay) – anyone stayed there? Does it count as a city hotel or would it be a resort in terms of check out times?
I have never stayed unfortunately, but I’m pretty sure it is a resort hotel and this is backed up by Black Friday rates showing post 30 April 2024, which Aston found out from Melia isn’t the case for city hotels. So late checkout will be 2pm unless they’re feeling more generous.
Note also there is a resort fee they call a ‘Facility Fee’ which is quite high at $32 per night plus tax! Not an indication it’s a resort hotel (as they charge in ME NYC!) but just in case you didn’t notice.
