Can anyone please advise when the next Amex Membership Rewards to Avios bonus is likely to happen? Not wanting to redeem my MR rewards balance at 1:1 if a future bonus rate is likely to happen. Thanks

Hasn’t been one in years. Since I got my first Amex card in 2014 I don’t believe there has been an MR to avios bonus..
Oh wow! I’ve only been collecting MR for c. 6 months and seen a lot of transfer bonus offers in the US so hoping that they make an appearance this side of the Pond. Thanks for the response
The difference is in the States Amex’s transaction fees exceed the price they pay for Avios & other redemptions.
In the U.K. & EU since the introduction of interchange cap any airline redemptions are loss making for Amex even at standard rates.

The EU/UK interchange cap doesn’t apply to Membership Rewards earning cards, it only applies to Visa, Mastercard and Amex co-brand cards (British Airways, Marriott, Nectar, Harrods).
