MGM Rewards Gold with Amex status match ?

Hi Guys.

Is there any method / path from having the Amex Platinum to get status matched to MGM Gold ?

I know about the Marriot partnership but seems as though the gold elite doesn’t match MGM whatsoever

Any help would be appreciated!

I’m also interested in this – but there are no viable routes that I know of. That statusmatcher link points to opportunities which are long void / closed.

There was a good Hyatt-MGM status match – that is now gone.

There was a good Wyndham-Caesars-MGM status match – that is now gone.

Instead a new partnership is announced with Marriot.

The new partnership means Marriot status holders now get: literally nothing in MGM status. It is the worst outcome I could imagine from the partnership for sure.

The only options I know of are if you have status with another casino (e.g. earn status via gaming at Wynn, Caesars, etc.), rather than via a hotel match.

If anyone knows of anything current that works, I’d love to know.

Not a route through Amex but FYI I was able to match my Royal Caribbean status (Emerald and up) to MGM Gold last night.
Only valid for the rest of the calendar year, have to contact them to renew every year.

Ah thanks for that, unfortunately i dont have any status with Royal Caribbean!
