Miami to London reward seat booking

I am looking to book 4 seats one way in a few days time when the seats are available 331 days in advance

I have a few questions as getting conflicting answers – figured the experts here can helps?!

– What time will the flight get released – I understand its 1am UK time, but as its one way from Miami would it be 5am UK time?
– How many upper class and premium econ seats get released per flight – I know there is am min number, but do they commit by cabin class, i.e 4 x upper, 4 x prem econ, 16 x econ
– If i could only secure 2 x upper for example, I presume I could only use an upgrade voucher IF there were 4 available (reward) seats?
– Anyone know what the hold time would be like at 5am? Need to allow 20 mins or more?

Thanks – yes ive had a read through a fair few of these posts this post I believe has been posted in the Virgin Flying Club sub forum.

I am a bit clearer on the seats being issued – I just wanted to check:

– 5am is the correct time to call Virgin at this time of year (to allow for time zone / daylight saving etc) for the Miami to LHR booking
– If I am ONLY able to book x 2 UC seats – if I can upgrade a further x2 seats in prem econ with the upgrade vouchers?

I’m not totally sure what you’re asking but there would need to be UC availability to use the voucher to upgrade from PE. If VS only release 2 x UC, that’s all you’ll be able to book. I don’t know how generous VS are with seats to MIA, you often see as many as 9 on other routes though.

It’s not a hugely popular route for booking at 5am. typically 2 per day but sometimes 6, and then you just have to keep checking through the year to see as and when revenue management release more, up to 9+
