IHG and Iberostar sign a strategic alliance for resort and all-inclusive hotels in the Caribbean, Americas, Southern Europe and North Africa
Getting on for 70 hotels will be added to IHG from December under the Iberostar Beachfront Resorts brand.
Initial locations include Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Brazil and the Canary Islands. Other locations- including mainland Europe – will be added to IHG over the next 2 years

Some of them are good but not that good
They actually have a really nice property in Barcelona over looking plaza Catalunya.
They are mostly a beach week in Spain company, but they do have a few properties that aren’t.

Not stayed at Six Senses but the Iberostar Grand El Mirador in Tenerife is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Discreet service, not overly luxurious rooms though extremely comfortable, fantastic breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and a wonderfully large heated outdoor pool. Also has a spa but I’ve never tried it.
If I book an Iberostar hotel via the IHG site, do I earn IHG points for the stay? I have not been able to get an answer to that query from what I have read.
