So as Capital on Tap are booting me next week (not for anything nefarious, was with them for years but they’ve just booted all sole traders), I need to find a new non-Amex business credit card. Use it for many and various business spends where Amex is not accepted. Suppliers, regulatory payments etc.
We’re small enough that I can pay the whole monthly employer’s PAYE bill via Curve Metal every month, as it’s under the £10k limit which was very useful – not least for business cashflow purposes, so would ideally want a card where this was still possible and fee-free. If it attracts rewards for that spend as well then so much the better but I could live without that.
Anyone aware of anything suitable? I see the HfP approved suggestion is Barclaycard Select Cashback. Does this do what I’m after?
Why not use a Ltd Company instead of being a sole trader?
Why not use a Ltd Company instead of being a sole trader?
Many reasons. First one being you have to publish your accounts to companies house, thereby all your competitors…
I have a friend that did this for this exact reason. Although he’s now brought out the competitors and consolidated into one ltd company
