I was accepted for Plat on Saturday. They quote 10 working days for card delivery, but I remember seeing mention here somewhere of Amex IT problems and/or delays, but of course I can’t find the discussion now.
How quickly have you received your card recently?
(Trying to delay some big purchases to include in the 6K spend.)
I got mine at 3 working days, but that included a bank holiday and a postal strike.
I think mine was just about next day – but I did apply fairly early in the 60,000 bonus window
Applied and approved in the early hours Aug 24th.
Card arrived Aug 30th.
Note it arrives in a small box via Royal Mail, you may need to be at home as it might not fit through your letterbox.
Applied and accepted on the 25th, card arrived today.
2 days, with a redirection in place. Would have been a day.
Thanks all. Mine arrived yesterday, third day after considering strike day. (However my wife’s supplementary card didn’t, though I can see her on the app.)
Hoping mine arrives today, it’s been 4-5 working days so far.

Did you add her on at the time of application? There is a 5,000 point bonus if you add them on afterwards and use the promo link.
