New routes from Edinburgh and Southampton

We’ll do an article on Friday but if you want to grab Avios seats now, BA has announced:

Southampton to Dublin
This will operate from 14th May to 30th October. There will be one flight per week – the flight to Southampton will operate on Saturday whilst the flight to Dublin will operate on Sunday.

Edinburgh to Guernsey
This will operate from 18th June to 24th September. There will be one flight per week on Saturday.

Edinburgh to Jersey
This will operate from 18th June to 24th September. There will be one flight per week on Saturday.

Jeez – they really hate Manchester, don’t they? No lounge and no direct routes (unless there’s something else in the offing).

Thanks for this Rob. I’ve checked out dates from EDI-JER using Avios and they’re there right enough!
However, I have to admit to being deflated when I saw the destinations. Absolutely no disrespect to Jersey & Guernsey, but I thought there may have been destinations on mainland Europe. Still, at least EDI is still on BA’s radar. Unlike MAN (it appears). Sorry @NorthernLass etc.

Traditionally, Barrhead Travel has worked with/chartered BA Cityflier and sold flights from EDI to various European destinations.
