Another positive data point here. I too was able to book long-awaited return legs on Iberia for next November.
Booked and now ticketed, so it looks as though the issue is fixed.
A final DP to confirm that I was also able to book some November long haul flights, open-jaw on the phone. The agent had no issues completing the booking.
