I have had a letter stating Notice of Variation to my BA Premier account, specifying a change of interest.
The card has been unused for a while, awaiting generation of a 2-4-1 voucher, just before account anniversary date, and I wondered if this change is likely due to the lack of use, rather than any other reason.
Should I be concerned about potential closure.
I’ve had these at various times from Amex – if you don’t pay any interest, it’s not going to affect you. I don’t think it’s anything to do with card usage.
All credit card companies do it from time to time when they change their rates. They’re obliged to notify you.
