My flights from MAN – MCO on December 12th until the 21st are currently in Economy using points. I have noticed that the outbound flight in PE has reduced down to around 28K each but when I messaged Virgin they have stated that in order to upgrade one way they need to reprice the full ticket (inbound as well.)
Is this correct as the reprice came in at 60K per person due to the inbound flight going up so much!
This seems to be the policy since dynamic pricing came in. You could look at whether it’s worth cancelling and rebooking, even with the £70 pp fee, depends what you paid initially. I’m only booking one-way since the changes, because as you’ve found out, it can complicate things if you book a return!

But lose the ability to use the voucher on the return leg? Tbf, given the pricing these days, not much value left in the voucher after using it in the first leg.
