I’ve found a Mexican domestic flight that I can book on Delta website for 10,000 mike’s and 34 USD cash.

Is there anyway of transferring hotel points or Amex MR into my Delta account?

Amex MR and Marriot both transfer into Delta, and yes refundable by phone.

To mitigate my risks, if I need to cancel the flights and get the miles recruited, do Delta miles expire? Hoping they are like United and last forever.

Delta miles are refundable but not the cheapest basic rewards fare

Skymiles dont expire, neither do United. AA after 24 months of inactivity on the account.
