Tried to pay off some balance today using the app and all I keep getting is an error message and code – BPME3 please try again later or call CS?
Anyone else get problems trying to pay any balance off first time?
I’m afraid the app is hopeless . Can’t find any avios info on it just keep getting fault AV006. I’ve had the card 2/3 weeks have been charged £20 and haven’t seen any avios information. Wasted time on the phone to customer service who are so poorly trained as to be useless ,
If it’s any help (until the app is working properly for you) you can pay directly from your bank account using account no. 38290008, sort code 20-04-15 and your 16 digit card number as the reference. I did this the other day and the payment was showing in the Barclaycard app within the hour
Can confirm faster payments definitely work

Did you manage to solve this? I’m getting the same error and just received an email saying that my avios club membership number is 000000, which is obviously wrong. Barclays’ help chat has been a waste of time so far.
