Paying HMRC via Curve with COT

Just wanted to confirm can I paying HMRC / other credit cards via Curve with COT or directly with COT and does it cost any fee etc and are avios granted for them

I have no idea what COT is but I just fronted close to my monthly maximum to the free Barclaycard on Curve Metal and the transaction appeared with no fee. I plan to to the same for the OH
