Which cards don’t charge the advance fee when used with Curve for HMRC payments?
Never been charged a cash advance fee from Virgin for paying HMRC via Curve. From my experience most cards don’t treat HMRC payments as cash advance, which makes sense.

Why does it make sense?
@JDB – because the only reason HMRC payments have to be fronted is when the law changed to say companies could not charge additional fees for credit card payments. Prior to this all credit card companies had no issues with HMRC payments and HMRC was happy to take payment as long as the fee was paid. Having paid HMRC for many years with BMI card and MBNA, this is a relatively recent issue.
