    Im currently travelling in the US and using my Barclaycard with curve, and have noticed that transactions are hitting completed but not dropping off my pending balance. So effectively being included twice in my balance.
    I had a payment declined last night because it apparently took me over my limit but on the app I can see I have 4.6k balance available, but the same amount of duplicate transactions stuck in pending going back 10 days. Those transactions are also appearing in the completed section so effectively duplicated. I know I’m nowhere near my limit so was taken aback.
    Tried to chat with Barclaycard via the app but its useless so will have to call instead. Hopefully they don’t rack up huge international phone charges keeping me on hold. Has anyone else had this issue?

    @HelenM – are you maybe using Curve for ‘hold’ transactions like hotel or car hire as that could consistent with what you are reporting?

    Curve, as a debit card, doesn’t work properly as a ‘hold’ card and hotels will often not properly release holds when you settle the final account, so the original hold can sit there for up to a month or even longer on top of the actual payment.
